Our client has recently acquired a house in a beautiful coastal location and assigned Maintain To Profit South East Auckland with the project of updating the interior of this three-bedroom brick house.

The focus of this beach house renovation was creating a modern and easy care space for their family holidays and possibly full-time living once the owners decide to retire and leave the hustle and bustle of the city.

Kitchen renovation

Our client has decided to keep the existing kitchen layout. U-shape kitchens offer a lot of workspace and space for cabinetry. The open-plan room allows one arm of the ‘U” to be made into a peninsula that can be accessed from both sides and used as a breakfast bar. It also offers a lot of storage volume, easily accessible from both sides.

With high-quality, German-made hardware, quality stone benchtop, and dense MDF cabinets, this timeless kitchen will last well over 15 years.

Accommodating growing family needs

As the family grew, it was essential to focus on making the house kid-friendly and easy to clean. The German-made laminate flooring works great for kitchen and living areas. It’s durable, easy to look after, and the underlay is sound absorbent.

Commercial grade vinyl was installed in the bathroom and en-suite.

A thick carpet with good quality underlay was the perfect choice in all the bedrooms and the corridor.

We also installed industrial carpet in the garage as it might be providing additional accommodation options in times of big family gatherings.

With the new kitchen, new flooring, and newly painted walls, the house looks fresh and ready to create many treasured memories.
