Driveway Restoration In Auckland

Here is an interesting job the team at Maintain To Profit Renovations was called to solve and recently completed. A little bit different from the usual home renovation.

After some heavy rain, the driveway on this property took a hit and was unsafe to continue using. The side of the driveway retaining got washed out, causing it to be unstable.

The team at Maintain To Profit Renovations got to work to restore the driveway so that the homeowners could use it once again. The new driveway was of ‘original construction’, however, to replace it, this required us to help the client with Engineering, townplanning/draftsman, building consent, resource consent, Traffic Management plan to Auckland Transport then put Traffic Management Systems in place to allow us to bring in the diggers, trucks, and concrete trucks to allow us to construct the foundations of the new driveway just over 3m below the footpath level.

This project took 2 years to complete from the date the driveway got washed out until the completion date, with the process requiring:

It was one big job! But now it’s finished and it’s safe to say both our team and the home owners are happy to have an operational driveway once again.
