This is a recently completed full house renovation in Chartwell, Hamilton. During the demolition phase one wall left standing after stripping the house back to the bones. From here the customer designed an all new floorplan opening up the main living area and creating a master suite down one end house.
The sleek black exterior was finished with Obodo cladding system, shadowclad ply and hardies with obodo battens which modernised the whole aesthetics of the house. A main feature of the kitchen/dining area were the 3 large skylights our builders installed, which flood the open plan area with light.
Both bathrooms were also stripped back to framing, relined and then fully tiled (floors and walls)
A hero feature for the renovation is the front entrance obodo wooden feature wall which mimics the cladding on the front entrance.
The project involved the management of over 20 subcontractors by our project managers and builders. The final product was a huge difference from what our customer began with and is evidence of how you can change a dated design into a modern open plan home! We are so proud of the project and happy we could help our customer with their properties transformation.
